The Call for Nominations for ChiroCongress Board of Directors and Clinical Compass District Representatives is now open! The election will be held during the ChiroCongress Convention in St. Louis, MO in November 2022. Nominations will close at midnight (ET) on August 16, 2022. On even-numbered years, nominations are open for Districts 2 & 4 for both District Directors and ChiroCongress Clinical Compass Representatives. Executive Board and ED at Large positions are open for nominations annually and eligibility is based on criteria set out in the Bylaws, Policy and Procedures Manual.
The President, First and Second Vice Presidents must be licensed Doctors of Chiropractic to be nominated to serve.
The positions of Secretary, Treasurer, and Executive Director at Large may be a Doctor of Chiropractic, but is not required.
Qualifications: The Executive Director at Large shall be actively employed by an Regular Member association and must have served at least 2 years as an ED for a Regular Member. The Executive Director at Large must have a minimum of 2 years senior association management experience in the chiropractic profession and must be pre-approved to run by their state association.
The position of District Director may be a Doctor of Chiropractic, but is not required.
Each ChiroCongress District shall elect a qualified Doctor of Chiropractic who is licensed and practices in their District to serve as their ChiroCongress Clinical Compass representative Eligibility: ChiroCongress Clinical Compass Representatives Shall: Have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience (clinical/academic/research). Recognition in the chiropractic profession with a record of leadership in relevant activities. Have an interest and commitment in the development, dissemination, implementation and outcomes of chiropractic practice guidelines and parameters. Have a broad view of public health issues. Demonstrate the capacity to participate in a consensus process. Demonstrate the capacity to respond to consumer needs.
